A Plan for Eti-Osa 1
Four legislative priorities. Four empowerment programs. Real problems, real solutions, and real accountability. This is not a list of promises — it is a contract with the people of Eti-Osa Constituency 1. Tap each pillar to see the problem, the plan, and how we will measure success.
Policies I Will Fight For
These are the policies and bills I will champion in the Lagos State House of Assembly — real solutions to the real problems facing Eti-Osa 1.

The Problem
Housing costs are rising faster than many residents’ incomes. In areas such as Eti-Osa, the gap between available housing and what ordinary workers can afford is especially painful.
The consequences include:
- Long commutes from distant communities.
- Overcrowding and unsafe housing conditions.
- Informal settlements and insecure tenancy.
- Workers spending an excessive share of income on rent.
- Young people and families being pushed out of communities where they work.
The Solution
I will fight for an Affordable Housing and Inclusive Community Development Bill that would:
- Establish a state-supported affordable housing programme with a target of at least one qualifying development initiative in every LCDA, subject to land, feasibility, and funding.
- Define affordability using income-based criteria, rather than simply calling any low-priced property “affordable.”
- Require transparent allocation criteria that prioritize eligible residents, workers, first-time buyers, and vulnerable households.
- Promote mixed-income developments so affordable housing is not isolated from jobs, schools, transport, and services.
- Encourage public-private partnerships, cooperative housing, and innovative financing models.
- Require basic infrastructure standards—water, drainage, roads, sanitation, and electricity access—before occupancy.
- Mandate public reporting on project costs, beneficiaries, completion timelines, and allocation.
- Support rental and rent-to-own options, not only outright purchase.
How We'll Measure It
- Number of LCDA-level affordable housing initiatives launched and completed.
- Number of affordable units delivered and occupied.
- Percentage of beneficiaries meeting published eligibility criteria.
- Average rent or purchase cost relative to target household income.
- Percentage of projects delivered with basic infrastructure.
- Average allocation time and number of unresolved allocation complaints.
- Public disclosure of project costs and beneficiaries.
Empowerment/Interventions
Empowerment programs and community interventions creating real, lasting impact across Eti-Osa 1.

The Need
Eti-Osa is home to many talented young people, but talent is often lost because young athletes lack access to quality coaching, facilities, competitions, equipment, scouts, scholarships and professional opportunities.
For many young people, there is no clear pathway from discovering their talent to turning that talent into education, employment or a professional sporting career.
What We Did
I will champion the establishment of the Imọ̀lẹ̀ Sports Initiative as a structured constituency sports-development programme.
The initiative will:
- Conduct regular talent identification across all six wards.
- Develop football, basketball and athletics programmes.
- Establish a constituency-level sports academy/development programme for identified talents.
- Organize annual ward and constituency sports competitions.
- Create structured scouting opportunities involving clubs, academies, coaches and sports organizations.
- Develop digital profiles and performance records for promising athletes.
- Pursue sports scholarship and educational opportunities for outstanding athletes.
- Provide targeted equipment and training support.
- Train and develop local coaches and sports volunteers.
- Create pathways into sports-related employment beyond professional athletics.
- Promote meaningful participation of girls and young women in sport.
- Establish an annual Imọ̀lẹ̀ Sports Awards programme to recognize excellence and progression.
Lives Impacted
We will publicly track:
- Number of young people participating.
- Number of athletes assessed.
- Number of athletes entering development programmes.
- Number of coaches trained.
- Number of athlete profiles created.
- Number of scouts, academies and clubs engaged.
- Number of athletes placed in clubs or academies.
- Number of scholarships and educational opportunities secured.
- Number of athletes receiving equipment or development support.
- Female participation rates.
- Number of participants progressing from one development level to another.
Hold me to every word.
This manifesto is a promise. When elected, I will publish quarterly progress reports on every pillar , openly, for all of Eti-Osa 1 to see.
