Lagos, Nigeria — August 8, 2026: The Taiye Adeyemi Campaign Organisation (TACO) was officially inaugurated on Saturday, August 8, 2026, by the leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Eti-Osa Local Government Area, marking a significant step forward in the campaign for the 2027 Lagos State House of Assembly election in Eti-Osa Constituency 1.
The inauguration brought together the ADC Governorship Candidate, His Excellency Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (GRV), alongside distinguished state, local government and ward leaders, Ward Chairmen, Women Leaders, Youth Leaders, members of the campaign organisation and supporters from across the constituency.
The event represented more than the formal unveiling of a campaign structure. It was a demonstration of the growing unity, organisation and determination behind the vision of providing effective, accountable and people-centred representation for Eti-Osa Constituency 1.
Speaking at the occasion, Hon. Niyi Adams in his keynote address emphasised the importance of unity, stating that ADC Eti-Osa must win internally before aiming to win at the polls, and that can only happen in a united party. Other speakers emphasised the need to build a movement that is rooted in the communities it seeks to represent, one that listens to residents, understands their challenges and works consistently to deliver measurable results.
The newly inaugurated campaign organisation brings together a team committed to driving grassroots mobilisation, strategic communications, voter engagement, election planning and community outreach across the constituency.
The inauguration also reinforced the campaign's belief that meaningful political change begins with citizens coming together around a shared vision for a better future.
Under the banner of “ÌMOLÉ DE,” TACO is positioning itself as a campaign built on fresh ideas, service, participation, accountability and hope.
As the journey towards 2027 continues, the campaign remains focused on taking its message to every ward, community and polling unit across Eti-Osa Constituency 1.
