The highly anticipated flag-off ceremony, held on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Luya Complex, Osapa, along the Lekki-Epe Expressway, brought together party leaders, candidates, stakeholders, members, and supporters in a colourful display of unity, solidarity, and enthusiasm for the elections.

The event featured inspiring speeches, music, dancing, and celebrations, as party leaders charged members and candidates to remain united, committed, and focused on the party's vision ahead of the 2027 polls.

Among the prominent party figures who addressed the gathering were Eti-Osa leader, Hon. Niyi Adams; the ADC Lagos State Deputy Chairman; State Youth Leader; State Chairman of Chairmen; Lagos Central Chairman; and State Organising Secretary. Their remarks centred on party unity, grassroots mobilisation, and the collective responsibility of members in building a stronger political movement.

A major highlight of the ceremony was the official presentation of the party's four flag bearers, who will represent the ADC in the forthcoming elections across the Lagos Central Senatorial District and Eti-Osa constituencies.

The candidates are:

Engr. Yomi Idowu — Lagos Central Senatorial District Candidate.

Hon. Azeez Adegoke Rasaki — House of Representatives Candidate for Eti-Osa Federal Constituency.

Hon. Taiye Adeyemi — Lagos State House of Assembly Candidate for Eti-Osa Constituency 1.

Hon. Ayodele Adio — Lagos State House of Assembly Candidate for Eti-Osa Constituency 2.

The presentation of the candidates marked a significant moment for the Eti-Osa chapter, signalling the party's readiness to intensify its engagement with voters and strengthen its grassroots presence ahead of the elections.

A Show of Unity and Political Readiness

The ceremony was characterised by a strong sense of camaraderie among party leaders, candidates, and supporters, with attendees expressing enthusiasm about the road to 2027.

The gathering also provided an opportunity for party members to reaffirm their commitment to the ADC's objectives and rally behind the candidates as preparations for the general elections gather momentum.

The message throughout the event was clear: unity, organisation, and sustained grassroots engagement will be essential to the party's electoral ambitions.

For the candidates, the flag-off represents the beginning of a broader journey to connect with constituents, communicate their respective visions, and present their programmes to the electorate.

The Road to 2027

With the flag-off concluded, ADC Eti-Osa is looking ahead to a period of increased political engagement, mobilisation, and outreach across the local government area.

The party's supporters expressed confidence in the movement's prospects, describing the ceremony as a demonstration of growing enthusiasm and a shared determination to pursue victory in 2027.

For Hon. Taiye Adeyemi, the ADC candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly in Eti-Osa Constituency 1, the event forms part of a wider political journey centred on purposeful representation, community engagement, and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of constituents.

The campaign's rallying message, “ADC — Arise and Shine,” captured the spirit of the gathering, while the multilingual slogans “Ìmọ̀lẹ̀ Dé,” “Haske Ya Zo,” and “Ìhè Abịala” reinforced its message of light, hope, and a new beginning.

As the party sets its sights on the 2027 general elections, ADC Eti-Osa has signalled its intention to build on the momentum generated by the ceremony and work towards translating its political ambitions into electoral success.

ADC Eti-Osa is ready for 2027. The flag is raised, the candidates are presented, and the journey continues.
